Vision:
Elpida Ministries will be financially sustainable with the ability to provide access for a healthy diet, clean water, medical care, education services, and consistent Christian discipleship for the people it serves. In addition, we will have crops and livestock for food and commerce, with dedicated personnel in numbers sufficient to ensure the continuation and success of the organization.
Our Story
How Abraham started the ministry
I was on the street waiting for some one, then suddenly I saw a mad person with children picking food from the trees for their
survival on the street. I looked at her and walked over to see what was going on with the woman. When I got close to her, she started telling me who her children are and what happened to her head. She narrated the whole story to me.

Scouting land!
August 2023

Here Abraham and his dad went to look at some land which would be used in the phase 2 sustainability plan. They got an overview of the property and an idea of what it would cost. This land already has crops planted and one small house built. This is exactly what we are working towards!!
A water tank!
October 2023

Finally! Water has been a large issue for some time. The families have to travel a good distance to find a water source and most of the time this water is scare, usually stagnant, and unclean, which is cause for much illness. Since Uganda gets a lot of rainfall, we thought it would be best to purchase a water tank that would catch and hold the rainwater to make the best use of the natural resources at hand. While this is a great start, they still have to clean the water of impurities, so getting a purifier is our next project! A huge thank you to the Soroptimist club of Marysville-Yuba City for donating this.
